POP lor!!! Haha... it feels really great to finally graduate from BMT, will know my posting by tmrl, from then on it will be 1 yr and 9 mths to ORD... LOL... Hopefully the SAF gives me a chance to drive their 5 tonners... :)
Been thinking thru wad i wanna study for U oso, I'll most probably go for NTU's mechanical engineering course, with specialisation in aeronautical engineering... Hopefully can get a job with the RSAF after i graduate... Considered taking business as well, bcos it is gonna provide me with a wider variety of job choices in the working society, but i dunno whether it's my cup of tea...
Now an analysis of the Australian Grand Prix from me, the F1 expert, after watching the tape of the race...
Renault have proven to be extremely competitive, their cars seem to generate much lesser tyre grinding than other teams, therefore it gives Renault an added advantage during the later stages of the race, where they still have tyre grip left to push, while other cars were all sliding ard... In particular Fernando Alonso, he started in the middle of the grid and had to use alot of tyres overtaking the cars in front, but at the end of the race he still had enough tyres left to fight for 2nd place with Rubens Barrichello...
Ferrari seems to be struggling abit, their car not as dominant as before... Their sluggish performance in Melbourne might push them to introduce their 2005 car earlier, instead of sticking with the largely incompetitive F2004-M...
Red Bull was really the surprise package of the Australian Grand Prix, their cars proved to be fast and reliable... With an experienced head in David Coulthard, Red Bull are likely to improve further...
Williams and McLaren were hugely disappointing, with totally incompetitive cars that seem to eat up the tyres very quickly... The cars had practically no tyre grip left at the end of the race...
Race results for the Australian Grand Prix:1st: Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault)2nd: Rubens Barrichello (Ferrari)3rd: Fernando Alonso (Renault)4th: David Coulthard (Red Bull)5th: Mark Webber (Williams)6th: Juan Pablo Montoya (McLaren)7th: Christian Klien (Red Bull)8th: Kimi Raikkonen (McLaren)Looking forward to the next race, the Malaysian Grand Prix, i expect Renault to build on their success with another race victory... Michael Schumacher shld be able to benefit from a new engine for this race as he did not take the chequered flag for the previous one, i expect Michael to at least get a podium finish...
Predictions for the Malaysian Grand Prix:1st: Fernando Alonso (Renault)2nd: Michael Schumacher (Ferrari)3rd: Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault)Private Tan signing off... enjoying my 1.5 days of block leave....
